Klépierre, the French shopping center developer, has completed the installation of solar panels across its assets in Spain and Portugal as part of its ongoing sustainability efforts. In collaboration with EDP, the company installed a total of 10,753 photovoltaic modules, spanning 25,903 square meters of retail space. The installation has been completed at several key locations, including La Gavia, Príncipe Pío, and Plenilunio in Madrid, Maremangum in Barcelona, Nueva Condomina in Murcia, Meridiano in Tenerife, Parque Nascente in Oporto, Espaço Guimarães in Guimarães, and Aqua Portimão in Algarve.
This move increases Klépierre’s total installed capacity to over 5,431 kWp, marking a significant step in the company’s commitment to its Act4Good Corporate Social Responsibility strategy. The company’s push for energy efficiency underscores its dedication to advancing sustainable operations across its shopping center portfolio.
