Kodak has released its sustainability report, ‘One World, One Kodak’, providing a comprehensive summary of ongoing sustainability initiatives and achievements across Kodak’s global business activities in 2023 and through Q3 2024.
In addition to an update on Kodak’s sustainability strategy, the new publication highlights the significant milestones that Kodak has achieved on its sustainability journey.
These include a 56 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and a 31 per cent reduction in water withdrawal, both ahead of the company’s 2025 targets.
The accomplishments reflect Kodak’s proactive approach to sustainability, as well as a long-term vision for a more sustainable future.
The 44-page report underlines how Kodak products and technologies are enabling customers in the printing industry to become more sustainable by reducing energy, water and chemical consumption and avoiding waste. Innovative solutions, such as KODAK SONORA Process Free Plates, KODAK PROSPER Presses and Imprinting Systems as well as water-based KODACHROME and KODAK EKTACOLOR Inks, play a crucial role in helping printers reduce their environmental footprint.
The report also features various printers from around the world who explain the positive impact of Kodak products on their sustainability efforts.
The 2024 report also contains updated information aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), ensuring that Kodak’s customers, partners and suppliers have access to comprehensive and reliable information about the company’s sustainability performance.
“Our sustainability strategy is rooted in the belief that we can make a positive impact on the world while delivering value to our customers and shareholders,” said Jim Continenza, executive chairman and CEO of Kodak.
“Sustainability is an integral part of our growth strategy and a reflection of our corporate values.”
