Joor spotlights 136 sustainable brands in digital showcase – just-style.com

Digital wholesale platform Joor has announced a “Sustainability in Focus” show where it will present brands around the world that are invested and committed to supporting sustainability through materials, manufacturing, packaging, circularity and fair trade and labour practices.
The “Sustainability in Focus,” show on Joor Passport is aimed at amplifying the visibility of these sustainable collections and facilitating global retailers in sourcing eco-conscious products for their stores.
The event debuted on 2 April and is expected to run until 2 June, promising to showcase 136 sustainable brands from around the world.
Among the collection of brands featured in Joor’s Sustainability in Focus exhibition includes Ganni, Johnstons of Elgin, Marine Serre, Nanushka, Pangaia, Stella McCartney, Vilebrequin, Vivienne Westwood, and Zadig & Voltaire, amongst others.
“Joor has an incredible breadth of global fashion brands within its ecosystem who are challenging themselves to address the ever-increasing need for better industry practices,” explained Amanda McCormick Bacal the senior vice president of marketing at Joor.
“As we understand the critical importance of supporting sustainability efforts industry-wide, we’re proud to highlight these designers—providing additional visibility and connecting them with the world’s best retailers through our vast network of global fashion buyers.”
Launched in 2020, Joor Passport centralised the global trade show and fashion week experience by creating a one-stop shop for buyers: one place to log in, one website to visit, one app to download, and one comprehensive experience.

Joor Passport has been described as an indispensable online tool for buyers given current market conditions of restricted travel and planned to extend its reach with both a virtual and in-person presence as physical events resume in the post-pandemic era.
This became possible in 2021 with its footprint in Japan where it launched a new virtual fashion event for retail buyers which featured over 30 Japanese fashion brands and will allow brands and designers to connect with international buyers.
In November 2023, Joor and sports trade fair, ISPO Munich partnered to foster business growth within the domains of sports, outdoor activities and lifestyle products.
