PHILADELPHIA, PA — Axalta (NYSE: AXTA), a leading global coatings manufacturer, has announced a partnership with Solera, a company specializing in vehicle lifecycle management. This collaboration aims to integrate Axalta’s refinish paint systems into Solera’s Sustainable Estimatics platform. The platform will enable Axalta customers to estimate their CO2 emissions per repair, considering factors such as repair methods, paint application processes, and drying conditions.
Axalta is the first coatings manufacturer to partner with Solera in this way. Through this partnership, Axalta customers will gain access to a live dashboard that provides CO2 estimates. This tool will help bodyshops make energy-conscious, data-driven decisions. The Sustainable Estimatics platform enhances Axalta’s BELEAF offering, which includes eco-friendly products, innovative tools, and resources designed to help bodyshops reduce their environmental footprint while achieving business success. This initiative highlights Axalta’s dedication to sustainability.

The Sustainable Estimatics for Paint tool simplifies the process of estimating Scope 1, 2, and 3 CO2 emissions. This allows organizations to present credible carbon emission figures, backed by an ISO-14064-01 certified company. Customers will also be able to review dashboards to analyze their overall collision repair footprint and benchmark against regional, country-specific, and industry-wide data.
