Severe delays were reported on the MBTA’s Green Line C Branch Monday night after an incident with a train at the intersection with St. Paul Street.
Photos posted to social media show a vehicle that collided with a Cleveland Circle-bound MBTA Green Line trolley.
The photo showed the vehicle on the right side of the trolley, which appeared to be heading through the intersection.
MBTA Transit Police said the trolley had the right of way when a passenger vehicle, traveling in the same direction, against the light, suddenly turned left into the trolley.

Police said there were two minor injuries reported.
The outbound train had just started moving when the crash happened. The collision with the vehicle sent the MBTA trolley tilting off the tracks, causing traffic to be diverted for hours.
The trolley was left propped on top of the vehicle’s front tire, causing the trolley to be lifted off the tracks.
The driver of the vehicle will be cited for a red light violation, MBTA Transit Police said.
