The Landscape and Environmental Design program at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center will be holding its sixth annual plant sale May 11 through 17. LISBON – The Landscape and Environmental Design program at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center will be holding its sixth annual plant sale starting Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and then continuing it throughout the week May 13 through the 17 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., while supplies last. Plants can be purchased in the greenhouse at the agriculture building on the campus.
Varieties available to purchase include: coleus, geraniums, begonias, marigolds, petunias, ipomoeas (sweet potato vines), impatiens and trailing verbena. The cost of the plants are $3 for a pack, $5.50 for 4.5-inch pots, $6.50 for 5.5-inch pots, $22 for a flat, $25 for a 10-inch hanging basket, and $33 for a 12-inch tub.
The sale is open to the public while supplies last. The event tends to sell out, so individuals are encouraged to contact John Garwood at the school at 330-424-9561 ext. 179 during the hours listed above prior to arriving.
