LANSING, MI – State officials want to bring into Michigan as many federal dollars as possible for environmental justice efforts.
The state dedicated $11 million to support community organizations focused on environmental and climate justice across Michigan. The idea is to help groups each pull down as much as $20 million in federal funds through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s community change grants.
