Monthly climate talk explores community resilience resources – PenBayPilot.com

ROCKPORT — The next program in the Rockport Conservation Commission’s series of climate talks at the Rockport Public Library is entitled “Expediting Climate Action and Collaboration.”
On Wednesday, May 15, at 6 p.m., Parker Gassett will present an overview of tools and guidance resources that assist climate change adaptation and community planning in Maine. 
Gassett works with the Maine Climate Science Information Exchange Office, at the University of Maine, and co-edited the first edition of the Maine Community Resilience Workbook. He is also a member of the Maine Climate Council’s Working Group on Community Resilience, a member of the Marine Extension Team of Maine Sea Grant and the Cooperative Extension Office, and a faculty fellow of the Mitchell Center Sustainability Solutions.
