Join Yale Blue Green, Yale’s environmental alumni group, for this virtual program with two experts on addressing some of the ways we can frame the argument for making the transition to sustainable policies. Moderating the session is Chip Spear ’74, board co-chair of Yale Blue Green.
Mary Evelyn Tucker is co-director of the Yale Forum on Religion and Ecology. She is affiliated faculty with the Yale Center for Environmental Justice at the Yale School of the Environment. Tucker was a member of the Earth Charter Drafting committee and the International Earth Charter Council. She won the Inspiring Yale Teaching Award in 2015 and has been awarded seven honorary degrees. Her numerous awards include a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Society for the Study of Religion, Nature and Culture.
Leigh Raymond ’88 is Gund Chair in the Liberal Arts in the Department of Political Science at the University of Vermont. He received a Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from U.C. Berkeley, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Yale University. His research focuses on equity and justice conflicts in environmental politics, with a focus on market-based policies and policies for behavior change.
