Georgetown County announced they have been given the green light to use more environmentally friendly mosquito control spray.
The Mosquito Magician is an eco-friendly repellent that lasts for two weeks when sprayed and uses only natural ingredients. It is made from Lemongrass, Cedarwood, Rosemary and Garlic.
The town started using the spray last year but was forced to stop after being notified that the product couldn’t be used until ULV spraying was covered on its label to allow its use for public mosquito control.
