Maldron Hotel Manchester sets a green standard, earning a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating and top EPC A status for energy efficiency.
Dalata Hotel Group Plc, Ireland’s premier hotel management company with an expanding footprint in the United Kingdom and across Europe, recently announced the creation of 32 new positions coinciding with the grand opening of its latest Maldron Hotel in Manchester.
This new establishment, named Maldron Hotel Manchester Cathedral Quarter, marks Dalata’s fourth venture in Manchester and offers another stellar lodging option for visitors to the city’s vibrant north. The group also manages Clayton Hotels, further enriching its portfolio with this new property alongside others like Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport and Clayton Hotel Manchester City Centre on Portland Street, plus Maldron Hotel Manchester City Centre on Charles Street.
As Dalata’s 54th hotel, the 4-star Maldron Hotel Manchester Cathedral Quarter represents the first in a series of four Maldron Hotels slated to launch throughout the UK this summer. The newly inaugurated 188-room hotel boasts the acclaimed Grain & Grill restaurant, offering a meticulously selected menu of beloved dishes, alongside a Red Bean Roastery coffee dock that provides top-quality barista-made coffee. Additionally, the Chapel Street location includes two advanced meeting rooms tailored for business professionals.
Maldron Hotel Manchester Cathedral Quarter General Manager, Richard Dennell said the hotel is the perfect basecamp for enjoying both the vibrant Cathedral Quarter and all that Manchester has to offer. The recently inaugurated Maldron Hotel Manchester Cathedral Quarter features a modern lobby on the ground floor equipped with self-service check-in pods, a large dining and bar space, and a fully outfitted fitness center. The hotel offers plush, fashionably designed rooms that include luxurious double bedrooms outfitted with rainfall showers, contemporary wooden flooring, air conditioning, and USBC charging stations.
In line with its robust expansion plans in the UK, Dalata Hotel Group is set to launch three more Maldron Hotels in premier UK locations this summer. These will be situated in Shoreditch in South Central London, Brighton, and Liverpool, elevating the Maldron brand to a total of eleven hotels in major UK cities.
