Local NGO, Policy Forum Guyana, has announced the launch of its 1.5 Lifestyle Starter Kit, coinciding with the global observance of World Environment Day which was observed on June 5, a release from the organisation stated last week.
This groundbreaking initiative, it explained, is designed to ignite a movement among Guyanese citizens towards embracing eco-friendly practices and curbing global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.

It focuses primarily on accountability and transparency issues related to natural resources, climate change, and extractive industries whilst promoting environmental education through the 1.5° lifestyle.
